MMR System is flawed and rank is subjective up to a point

So i logged into my alt smurf account today after a long while (yes i know ironic huh?) It had 93% win ratio and was gold 4.

Played couple of games. Won and lost the same amount but my MMR is low / mid plat cause of my earlier win ratio.

Now the system decides to boost me to Gold 2 even though i didnt play any promos ever. I even skipped gold promos cause my MMR was that high.

And im asking. Why am i gold 4 and struggling in my main account when i can obviously play in plat or better and do good?

Also noting that i did reach plat promos in this account too but it took me FAR more many games to do so.

This whole MMR bullshit is flawed. So my main account is doomed to be stuck cause the MMR has averaged out. Im not saying its the only reason its stuck (cause i like to play random crap too etc) but, im the same player playing the same game.

Play 600 games on your alt and let us know if you stay in gold 2.

Because there is no better system. Matchmaking will never be perfect in a 5v5 solo queue game. Realistically, riot could make small improvements like moving duo to flex and making solo only or adding back in position based mmr but those will only be small improvements. Not much room beyond that.
