something wrong with the ranked system

If i'm silver why do i have to play against all gold 1 players just to fucking scrape my way into low gold over 300 games? why cant i play vs other silver players so i can can make it there in 10 games. what makes sense about that? i'm literally a 47% wr in silver playing against gold and i'm getting 29 LP a win but i cant win any games. doesnt seem fair that i'll be stuck silver because of this. i'm not playing out the 300 torture games. pretty fucking gross.
