When is it time to FF?

I think riot should address this because it seems most people are completely ignorant on when a game is unwinnable. Loosing games isn't what irritates me. I'm fine with that. Wasting my time for an extra 25 mins is what irritates me. Keep in mind that i'm not even playing ranked, which i understand people are reluctant to ff because of lp.

Due to balancing for pro play, and the damage creep and towers exploding. Being ahead to a certain point secures the game now. and people must realize this. There is no "farming it out" or turtling anymore. Unless the other team just walks around the map not getting any gold or objectives the game is 99% over. This is just the fact of the game in its current state.

Now let me add in here before people go off in the comments. You CAN come back from small disadvantages. and saying ff at 5 mins in is not wise. But when 20 mins come around and the enemy team has twice as many kills, or ALL the kills and all the first towers on the map and your team has none then the game is over.

This is the reality of the game. If this upsets you take it up with Rito games, that you wish the game to be for your enjoyment and not spectators sport for pro play only. But in the meantime, learn "when to ff". because you could use the extra 20 mins to start a new game and actually improve.

FF is not sacred. And has nothing to do with honor. It is implemented as a time saving mechanic for those who know how the game works

pretty much rule of thumb is if enemy has 15+ more kills then your team its time to GG.

When your team is behind 5k-10k gold. At that point it's almost impossible to come back from.

If you wanted to FF, failed the vote, and the game went on for 25 more minutes, you had a significant shot at winning that game. Games that are truly 100% over should be over at 25 minutes, not 45.

This particular game ended at 30 mins and they had a 20,000 gold lead. I do see that i did say go on for 25 more mins tho which you are right would leave it at 45:00 where everyone should be full build and the game could go either way. Maybe i shouldn't have said 25.

Also, when people are very ahead, generally they know they can't lose and they'll just stall and farm it out until they get ridiculously fed to the point it becomes a joke and your team just starts AFK'ing. Then you have those people saying 'We can do this!' when none of your team can even get close to the enemy without getting one shotted, while the other team is just screwing around because they know it's already won.

If the enemy team has 40 kills at 15 minutes, it is a surrender game.

I tend to start losing hope when we're say 10 kills behind, missing 3-5 towers and it's around the 20 minute mark. At that point, it is such an uphill climb just to break even with gold.
