Ryze's winrate is confusing. He's been out for quite a while but Urgot has a higher winrate.

Because these Red Named imbeciles want to have an excuse for working on Ryze for the 8th time. They are incompetent when it comes to champion balance and update. Look at Karma, Shen, and Morde.

I think people aren't building right, he's very weak early, and his ult is actually quite difficult to use to its max capacity in my experience

He is a short range battle mage, that has crazy high dps in the form of bursts. I think he probably should be built as a ranged AP bruiser, rather than the 1000 AP Ryze of 1 shottery that I usually see (where Ryze 1 shots, or fails and gets obliterated)

I'm not totally sure though- I've only played him a couple times since the rework, but I think AP bruiser will probably work better than full AP
