ARURF is an Awful Experience

So, there is a reason why URF tends to be more popular than ARURF and it has more to do with the bans than the picks. I don't really mind playing something off the wall or goofy. Gimme anything from Kai'Sa to Braum to Maokai, I don't really care.

But there are certain champions that If I see locked in I'm just going to dodge the lobby because they will suck all of the fun out of the game mode. The common theme being all of these champions have such omnipresent CC and harass that it isn't actually possible to play the game when they walk into lane or they deal so much damage with so much harass that the result is the same.

Namely: , for me personally anyway. Did you get Nasus? Wanna see how high you can stack with the CDR? Too bad, Zoe bubbles are going to come from every direction any time you step near a minion and because of her goofy freaking splash AoE sleep nonsense being in range to hit a minion is in range to be blasted by a bubble lobbed at a minion wave.

Obnoxious enough in normals, it breaks the game completely in ARURF. The bubble lasts longer than the F***ing cooldown does so if you get hit by ONE of these things that can fly through terrain and splash off of minions then you are going to die. Ahri's charm is just as bad and I don't think I even need to explain why Jhin has also made my top three.

It's abysmal. It sucks all of the joy out of the goofiness of the game mode when I can't actually even walk into lane to auto a minion without being hit with a nuclear warhead lobbed by a literal 12-year-old . Staring at a grey screen for 15 solid minutes because you never even had a prayer isn't fun. Sure, if I build static shiv Leona, I deserve every death I'm about to rack up. But if I can't even farm enough minions to get a zeal because Mr. edgy edgelordton is constantly filling my a**hole with so many bullets they could use my colon as a munitions depot, then I may as well not even play the game mode.

I don't really know what the fix is but if ARURF is supposed to be this goofy relaxing fun-time to take a break from ranked, then it is failing at its job.
