Wukong's Decoy

Am I the only that feels that it should do more than just stand there like a deer mesmerized by headlights?

It should be a small AoE taunt with no damage or AA the closest enemy unit (prioritizes champions) for 2 seconds for 60% of his attack damage or make it controllable with no damage.

The fact that is just stands there like a paralyzed, brain dead chimpanzee annoys me to no end.

I legitimately have better outplays when I press S instead of W.

The main reason I'd prefer the taunt is because even with my perfect timing, all point and click abilities pass through the clone or ignore it completely and still hit me.

Including but not limited to Garen Darius Akali Brand ults Teemo Annie Taric Q Pantheon W

That's 8 extremely telegraphed moves that allow me to use decoy a full second before I get hit, have the clone be completely ignore, then get wrecked while I'm still invisible.

Shouldn't be able to kill an invisible MonkeyKing Shaco Akali outside of skill shots and AoE spells.

The only point and click spell that properly functions for MonkeyKing is against Caitlyn ult.

I main Wukong and i got to say, he is pretty strong as it is. however, i have also considered Wukong should get a change to the clone. I don't want anything fancy like being able to control it (even though it would follow Wukong real lore more accurately), but at least make it so that it deals the little magic damage + a % of total/bonus AD. This should be a balanced change considering there are many ways to tell when Wukong clones, the clone doesn't move and its range is not that big so it can be easily dodged. I don't want any OP changes to his W, and honestly won't mind if they don't buff him at all because i still love the champ and still rek with em, but considering all these insane reworks and buffs (Darius reworked stronger after already being pretty strong and then buffed again on the following patch) it would sort of just fit the trend no? lol.

I didn't even consider giving the move physical damage or at least giving it AD scaling. I'd be happy with that.

That's kind of the point, that it can be used with W to make big plays.

AoE taunt, no, AA meph, though I doubt people would like that over being able to simply stop juke.

They AoE taunt is better than stop juke. I'll take the no damage AoE taunt over the regularly decoy 250 (+0.6 AP) any day when laning against a Garen XinZhao or Darius .

A well time clone can make them burn their ult, but I'll trade them still having their ult up to be trapped in a taunt, allowing me to escape.

Normally I cloak after I proc Q and dash E, so I think the AA is most effective because the AA are believable. When I'm fighting someone and I just randomly stop attacking, clearly it's the decoy.

I said no for balance reasons. Taunts are one of the strongest CC in the game, not only does it displace and stop channel and various effects like that, but it also pull the enemies in. Also why I don't use the decoy unless I'm going in or to escape ganks, but that is just me.

It is for escaping trades, but you'd have to be completely oblivious to MonkeyKing mechanics to fall for it. I never have trouble when laning against Kong. He's easy kills for me.

Your Decoy can Body block High damage spells and CC. What more do you want? (Actually that's a perfect excuse to look like a dear in the head lights. Because it was stunned.)

Not point and click spells. If Annie uses her Q and you use decoy, it'll pass through it and still hit you. Since that normally happens when she has her stun, you'll be stunned when you become visible again. Happens when I mid against her all the time. I still kill her because my damage output and LS is better than her burst, but my decoy is useless against her Q.

I'd rather his decoy be you vanish for 1 second and you can then control your decoy but removes it's damage at end of timer.
