how to deal with Vayne top (as a meele champion)

I was playing as Renekton top, the enemy had Vayne top, with flash and exaust. I tried to play defensive, because I knew she would just kite me if i tried to fight. she kept poking me, by auto attacking , pressing q auto attacking (wow, those skills). So I tried to be agressive. At 3/4 hp, I used my E, she immediately knocked me back before i could even press Q, then exausted me and simply auto attacked me to death, I couldn't even run to my turret. First blood. I teleported to lane, let her farm 1 entire wave, so I could farm in turret. she kept auto attacking me at max turret range, if i wanted to lasthit 1 minion, she would use 3 basics, half my hp was gone, and she would Q away, taking 1 turret hit. My jungler refused to gank. Ended 1-9-2, report Renekton for feed... Vayne PUSHED UNTIL TURRET THE WHOLE LANING PHASE, easy to gank. I couldn't trade, even less kill, couldn't farm and the only way to survive was staying afk in the middle of the turret, without farming or doing anything at all.

Condemn has a 20 second cooldown.

Engage on her. Repeatedly. You stat check her hard in trades and she can't peel forever if you're aggressive enough.

Vayne top is easiest way to get fed. Just call your jungler to camp top and Vayne will be 0:5 by the time she hits lvl 6.

I had this problem as Dr Mundo, eventually I just build up some armour and out-damaged her with my Ult. You just need to stay within range of her so get some movement speed and attacks that slow her :)

Vayne fits the script to counter many top lane champs, much like Quinn. Unfortunately she deals HP % damage so she can bring down all of the big bruisers that lack some sort of range to trade some damage until they can all in. I can only suggest asking for a gank, also I'm not sure if it was blind pick or draft but keep an eye out for what the enemy roster is looking like and try to counter pick.

ugh in a 1v1 it's a terrible frustrating crap to play against.

thing is your jungle was inept. Camping a vayne if your laner is fucking RENEK is free kills. id potentially leave my other lanes to themselves and camp the ever living fuck out of vayne. that champion deserves it. And she won't be 1v2'ing early on.
