Instead of futilely trying to get a player banned after a game... (Kick em')

I've been playing League for almost two years now, and I have to say it's made some great progress! New champs, new items, skins, Rift, etc., including implements to Leaverbuster and the Tribunal, trying to "encourage" people to behave in-game. However, you can make the laws, but criminals will still ignore them. League has, by far, the largest player-base in the world, and 1:5 of those people are probably trolls. 1:5! If that estimation was even reinforced mathematically (which it isn't), that means that there will be one troll on each team for a game, but they may choose to not troll that particular match. (When I say "troll", I'm referring to anyone that intentionally doesn't play or just blatantly insults you for being "bad" or the like.)

I've played in far too many toxic games now. Some of them I'd control myself, others I'd let my rage out on the baddie, and it's gotten pretty ridiculous that I can almost never have fun playing anymore because someone trolls me. The bitterest pill to swallow is that I'm totally helpless. I can't stop them from feeding on purpose or make them want to play, or whatever they're doing on their whims. I get to try my hardest while they just sit back and watch the team lose, and then I lose LP and will be angry for a while, all because they died in the first 5 minutes of the game. Sound familiar to anyone? I can't be the only person this has happened to.

Ranting aside, it's pretty clear that the community is never going to be cleared of trolling. So if we can't stop them from coming into the match, why can't we kick them out?

Scenario: Thresh goes bot with Caitlyn , Cait feeds first blood to Jinx , Jinx gradually snowballs and before you know it, your bot lane is 0/5. Thresh then decides he's going to pull down his big-boy britches and start jerking off to Iron Man 3 whilst he laughs at any pleas you make to him for help. Luckily, you have "LEAGUE PLAYER KICKER 5000000!" It's a handy little feature that removes the toxic twink from the game in a summoner 4 , gives you a bot that will at least defend for you, and all is back to normal... sort of. But it's a better situation now.

This isn't a foolproof concept, mind you. It could lead to more trolling in Normals; 4-man premade troll team and the random is gone. But that shouldn't be a problem in Ranked. Ultimately, if someone's going to just not play, you don't need them on your team to begin with.

I'd love any feedback you guys have.

In almost every case an afk player is better than a bot; for one, the afk does not feed, or ignore objectives, or take weird paths that end up going through multiple enemy turrets.

Think about this you could have trolls that just kick you instead. Also I would like to know how you will be able to kick players. Would you perhaps have your team vote on kicking the 'Troll'. This could be easily making the experience to new players that are not as experienced in ranked unhappy as they would be seen as a troll since they just are bad. Plus a bot is just as useless as the troll in my opinion. There is a mute button just so you know...

We should be allowed to kick players so I can stop Bard from cock blocking my ult all the time.

Bot AI is to weak for a bot ally to be an improvement.

An intermediate bot, troll, or 1 man down is pretty much the same scenario in terms of chances of winning. A bot, troll, or no player will likely not contribute to team-based strategies and team fights, while leaving important objectives free or feeding kills.

There's little difference between your proposed system and just muting a troll to deal with them. Also:

and it's gotten pretty ridiculous that I can almost never have fun playing anymore because someone trolls me.

Mute them and pretend they aren't there.

Trolling is basically a game involving making other players dance for you.

If you mute them, it's pretty much impossible for them to hold any power over you.

I appreciate everyone's feedback. :)

I already know that just getting a bot doesn't really create a solution to kicking someone from the game, but neither does muting them or just ignoring them. What I wanted to make a point of here is how almost every other competitive game has this feature and it makes their games so much more lax. League is a f2p game, so every little middle school fuckboy doesn't have to borrow mommy's wallet in order to play it. The big highlighted "behave or we'll report you" feature is made obsolete by the millions of reports sent in EVERY DAY. Most of them are just looked over because they're unviable, miniscule, or personal offenses between two arguing players, e.g.; "zed ur bad" "stfu" "reported"

It makes players want to behave more in-game when they know that they won't be allowed to play if they misbehave and get kicked. You're all missing the point here! I don't want to completely erradicate trolling from the community because it** won't** happen, I want the ability to be able to kick them out of my game if they start messing with me.

Ok let me be blunt you're not getting kicked or trolled by 4 man premades in ranked and that excuse needs to just die since you can only max as a duo queue in ranked unless you do a 5 man pre made. Also the amount of horror stories is vastly exaggerated about trolls/afkers in ranked since a lot of people use that as an excuse for when they play poorly.

Not sure if serious or just trolling... -.-

EDIT: Nvm, OP is a bronzie... figures.

While I've never personally had a bad experience with it, I've heard far too many horror stories from people playing with 4-man premades for me to support this.
