Then why does it seem like nearly every game has an Evelynn, Teemo, Ezreal, Karma, Sona, Yi, Fizz, Lux or Ahri? Weren't these the champs everyone was bitching about? I'm so confused as to how the frequency of these champs is so incredibly high. I've played against/with an Evelynn in the majority of my games today. That doesn't seem right.

To be clear - I'm in the camp that believes URF was fine the way it was. Now, it just seems like it's the same thing, only sometimes people are garbo with the OP champs.

Champions who are owned by more people would obviously turn up more often, so that may be part of the reason. Rerolls also make it more likely for people to go into each game with strong champs. However, it remains a mystery as to why champs like Evelynn, who seem very unpopular, are frequently in games. It may be because a large number of people bought her specifically for URF.

I personally don't believe that Riot rigged the system though, if that's what people are thinking.

Teemo sucks. Sweeper has almost no downtime so shrooms shouldn'T be an issue. but yea same champs every game because not every champ is available when it should be.

Just throwing it out there - Ownership of a champion in AR URF doesn't matter. Today I got placed as a champion that I do not own.

I've played about 30 matches in this mode so far, and only seen Evelynn once or twice. Maybe you are just unlucky with seeing her a lot? She is super OP so it's not much fun to play when someone has her in this mode.

Luckily, afaik she is pretty weak in ARAM and not usually in the roster of ARAM only accounts. A lot of the champs you see disproportionately are because people are using their ARAM only accounts to play ARURF, and most of the strong ARAM champs are also strong in ARURF.

I don't believe Riot would intentionally jig the system, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if they are incompetent enough to fail at implementing a random champ draw. In fact, I would be surprised if the randomness is not jacked up somehow by incompetent coding/implementation, just like (I suspect) in ARAM.
