Overloaded kits? Certainly. But this isn't about Ekko.

So, we have all of these champions. Some of them have lightly overloaded kits. Forcefully gated by a cooldown so you cannot freely belt out something at any given time. (Jayce Nidalee Elise )

Others have heavily overloaded kits (Poppy Ekko )

And then you have the monster that has the most overloaded kit in the game. (Lulu )

Lulu , as a whole, is infuriating to play against and has been since her creation. Her overall power was proven SEASONS ago when she was taken to the mid lane and gained overall domination of anyone and everyone she came across. Ekko has an answer to some things, Lulu has an answer to everything.

So lets look at her kit:

  • High passive damage that scales quite well into the late game, more powerful than Nami's E, depending on how fast your or your carry's attack speed is.

  • Q: High Damage Poke that can bypass SpellShields | Applies a high strength slow to the target that is refreshed with the second lance

  • W: Easy disengage on either use of her W | Incredibly high speed buff on allies | A multi-CC mixed into one (Silence, Disable, Movement Crush)

  • E: A high strength shield or guaranteed poking tool | Allows for high assisted damage potential depending on passive level and carry's attackspeed | Grants vision of enemy target and a platform for glitter lance to harass from.

  • R: Health Spike with multi CC (Immediate Knockup, medium/high strength Slow Aura)

So, all in all, she's got the ability to force any and all hard engage champions to get out. She's practically got an answer to anything anyone can do at any given moment.

Ekko can heal with his ulti and deal a ton of damage

Lulu can heal with her ulti, knock everyone up, and continue to slow everyone around that target for seven seconds, all without a four second delay timer.

Ekko deals too much damage with his Q Poke+Passive combo

Glitter-lance has a base damage of 260 with a .5 AP ratio and doesn't require a positioning for a proper return damage. Her passive can deal an extra 210 (+0.3 AP) damage per second at her theoretical attack speed limit of 2.0 (or, with Pix aiding a carry with such, a total of 1260 + 1.8 Lulu's AP over six seconds). She is not limited to melee range for this.

Ekko shields for too much

On a 3 second delay. That lasts for 2 seconds. Last I recall, Lulu can shield for slightly less for 6.

And before any of you state:

"Spell shield can't block glitterlance" But it's a spell, of course it can

Glitterlance functions with spellshields in the same way that Timewinder does. There are two instance, both can deal damage. The difference is, if Glitterlance does not damage a target on the first instance, it will damage on the second and vice versa. The first lance will break the shield, the second lance will deal full damage and apply the slow. Conclusively speaking: Spellshield will not help you deal with Lulu's poke

Wait.... how does Poppy have a "have heavily overloaded kit". Auto attack reset/extra dmg, speed/armour boost, dash/dmg, ult... That doesn't sound very overloaded to me. Unless you compare it to someone like Trundle. But she is NOWHERE near Ekko in kit size.

This changed my opinion on Ekko

And riot won't actually stop with Overloaded kits because LCS big plays. But hey, we can just reworks champions until everyone is Overloaded. Cause if everyone's overloaded, no one is.

What is your point you're trying to make, exactly?,...That lulu is overloaded? I think most people already know that.
