Stop doing this

So I had a game today where I bought a new champion, Riven. She is probably in the weakest state right now and requires a lot of skill to be good. I understand that, and I know summertime brings an opportunity for me to practice a champion. I also know that if you're good at Riven you can carry yourself in a lot of scenarios. So I decided to buy her and try her out. Here's the main point of this post: People need to stop going 110% in normal games. This isn't your diamond promotional games. You don't have to all-in at every small opportunity you see. I get camping me, I understand that. It happens. I'm not tripping about that. But for a Nasus to literally zone me to my turret from touching the CS at level 5, it gets a little stupid. I'm not saying that they shouldn't ever do that, but at level five? This isn't ranked.

NEWS FLASH: If you lose a normals game, NOTHING HAPPENS. I get it. Nobody wants to lose. But you will get the same experience as the enemy, when IP was a thing, You'd get the same amount of IP as your enemy (besides 1st win of the day.) I get that nobody wants to lose okay? But chill the fuck out. I can't learn a new champion in that circumstance.

Well if you can't handle that then go play bots You don't learn anything in a bot game. You don't learn how enemies react to your abilities, you don't learn matchups, you don't learn anything. With top lane, the matchup is everything. But a first time Riven player will most likely lose to every single matchup, even if it's in her favor, because she is a first time Riven.

I don't have a problem with losing, and I don't have a problem with getting camped, but it's a normal game for christ's sake. Don't be an ass about it.

Also an FYI nobody actually goes easy on you if you type in all chat "Hey 1st time ____ go easy on me please." So that isn't a good answer either.

Telling them first time anything is just ringing the dinner bell for the opposing jg

As long as you don't use the phrase "It's just norms" go on and practice.
