Good lord people just hate everything Riot does. He was one dimensional before his update. Just Q cirt Q crit. How can people even say old gp was better. I like the new way he looks to the only skin they screwed up was sailor gp.

I see people play him mid a lot I guess that makes since considering hes not a great bruiser from my experience

I like them both, but AP gp is dead though. The reason AP GP was strong cause the base W heal was strong and compliment by building AP, Ult is really strong, Q is decent with lichbane or runeglaive, his passive was amazing for dueling even if you dont build AD, and his E allows him to mix damage and mobility by giving him AD/MS.

The new gangplank is BY FAR superior.

The barrels can apply his Q, on hits that his Q applies, ignores 60% of a target's armor, and deals bonus damage to champions.

Plus let's not forget it hits in an AoE, so in theory he could crit your entire team all at once with everything above, in theory.
