Auto attacked Xayah to death after my GA was popped lol. Her mia ping after she died is also hilarious.

It's not just Jayce. It's GA. In some recent video (don't know which streamer it was), Renekton did the same thing, finished autoattack while in GA.
Yeah I think the recurring theme here is that the auto attack was queue'd up before the GA popped, and finished after the GA popped. This would make sense if it was something like:
Jayce pressed Q, xayah auto'd and Jayce still got the auto attack off
But you're right, it doesn't make sense for it to work with GA.
Yeah this is pretty common. I've seen an even worse one with Anivia. She used her e long after going into her egg.
