If you want to start winning games stop being a meta breaking hipster

Seriously not only are you losing the game for yourself but 4 team mates.

100 % positive everyone would go up like an entire division if people stopped being meta breaking hipsters who build/play stupid shit

i would love to stone every single person to death who thinks copying LCS = "playing meta"

ap Chogath is a staple pick for me my friends know it works great mainly because its a utter noob stomp most would rage at me but i keep going on proccing ludens on autos because fuck you it also has the best objective secure in the game if i stopped playing i'd obviously still be bronze 5 because everyone are selfish bastards that pick le blanc then go 0 10 in lane which is mainly because of me

Don't even know what meta means --> brags about it .

Oh how much i luv bronzies.

It's funny because I used to think exclusively about the meta and ran a well below 50%ish win rate.

Switching to off meta builds, my win rate is very steadily climbing.

The truth tea has been spilled.

Anytime someone says something like "This is the kill the lane" when they go Karthus and Zilean bot lane, or that they're going to "stick it to the meta sheep" as AD Leblanc I wish riot had a dodge vote of some kind. Even in normals it's a huge waste of time. Either they waste 20 mins of our lives, or they end up extending the game because others have to carry them when they otherwise would not have had to if they made a thoughtful choice.

When people explain their meaning behind their pick a little bit I feel a little better, but 9 out of 10 times in bronze/silver it's someone who is trying to be original. I don't get it at all. There are so many champions in this game, and most of them have different viable build paths, and can be played in more than one role.

Another thing I see so much in lower leagues is people who try to copy LCS as champions they know nothing about.

Whether you play meta or not doesn't really affect your win-rate.

What helps out your win-rate is knowledge, be that knowledge of your own champion, knowledge of the game as a whole or just knowledge of your match-up.

If you're a good Taric player and you can play that to a better standard than your Janna/Thresh/Morg ect. it's a lot better for you to pick what you're good at,
