Warwick Rework Suggestion
As others have pointed out, this isn't more of a rework as it is a redesign/update, with some slight changes to his E. However, I was hoping this would be left open to outside input from others, such as yourself, on what this might be. If you don't want to participate, that's cool, I just thought it would be neat to change this champion a little bit, since every other 450 ip champion seems to have had slight-to-major changes.
So, a co-worker/friend and I were talking about reworks, and we thought about a rework for Warwick. I will try to make this short and easy to understand.
Passive: no changes that we could think of to make this unique/does not really need a change. (Current passive: Warwick's basic attacks deal 3 - 16 (based on level) bonus magic damage and heal him for the same amount, stacking up to 3 times per target and persisting for 4 seconds.)
Q: no changes necessary that we could think of. (Current Q: ACTIVE: Warwick swipes at the target enemy, dealing magic damage and healing himself for 80% of the damage dealt.)
W: Active: grants bonus attack speed to himself only, increases his passive to max stacks for 6 seconds. (current W: ACTIVE: For 6 seconds, Warwick gains bonus attack speed and grants half of that bonus to all nearby allies.)
E: Passive: Champions Warwick damages applies a debuff towards that champion. This also applies to all champions below a certain amount of health(below 45%, for example) when he is within X units of a champion. Champions with this debuff leave a "scent" trail(for champions attacked, lasts for Y seconds, for champions within X units, lasts until they are out of range or until their health goes above a certain percentage).
Active: Warwick goes on all fours, and gains passive movement speed when moving towards enemy champions. This passive movespeed is doubled if Warwick follows the scent trail that a champion leaves behind. Enemies and allies cannot see this trail, only Warwick. (current E: TOGGLE: Warwick gains Sight icon sight of all nearby enemy champions with less than 50% of their maximum health, also alerting them to his presence. While any enemies are revealed this way, Warwick gains bonus movement speed.)
R: Animation update: Warwick pounces on an enemy within 700 units. During the animation, he is unstoppable, but can still be killed. Upon landing on an enemy champion, he deals a certain amount of damage. After the animation, the rest of his ult plays through. Animation lasts .50 - 1 second based on distance traveled. This ult also will always land on the target, regardless how far they move away, similar to Vi's Ult in the sense that once it's activated, you cannot escape it unless Warwick dies. (current R: ACTIVE: Warwick blinks to the front of the target enemy champion and channels for 1.5 seconds, Suppression icon suppressing them for 1.8 seconds and dealing magic damage 5 times in 0.3 seconds intervals. Warwick heals himself for 30% of the damage dealt, and each damaging strike applies on-hit effects. )
So...thoughts? Additions, subtractions, multiplications? Bear in mind I am not looking for solid numbers on most of this stuff, it's all concept. I will not try to pretend like I know what the best damage values for Warwick are, or that they should change in any way. I also do not play him all that often, I just thought it was a neat concept to brainstorm.
