And yasuo has his winrate dropped by ~6% in mid and ~5% in top on the second day of the patch. This is not a "PLS BUFF YASUO" post, riot has said that they will be looking to give him some compensation already, this is more for boards users who complain about stuff when they have no goddamn clue wtf they are talking about. That's just an example of why Riot isn't blindly trusting what the boards say

yasuos 2 item build hits 100% crit exactly the same as before, with more expensive items and less damage on his crits. this was clear from the beginning.

my guess is they will remove the reduced crit damage on his passive and give him full 200% with one of the next patches.

The typical people getting shitstomped by Yasuo because they haven't adapted to figure out the most simple way of countering him. Pretty sure when the IE changes were revealed on the PBE you noticed the spike of Hatesuo threads on here, right? Thats the people the OP is talking about.

Well lets be honest. They promised a rework last year when he hit godtier banrate, but then people stopped banning him, and it was canceled. Now's the time honestly for them to give him said rework since IE already does the job of his passive. Having him tied to crit is somewhat the main issue, kinda. But give them time because myself as a Yasuo fan/main would like to prefer we avoid the Frozen Force route which would warrant nerfs out the ass.

tbh a yas rework kinda scares me, because as he is now i love his kit. Its super fluid and smooth and every ability synergizes with each other, if they reworked his passive double crit and shield to be something a bit different okay, but dont mess w/ the rest of his kit, it IS balanced and does have counterplay, and rewards good yasuos and punishes bad yasuos.

Let's see... ADCs have to spend about a thousand more gold to hit their power spike, but once they do, they spike WAY FUCKING HARDER THAN THEY USED TO! And assassins and other clickers have all kinds of new items and runes to abuse too, which is really fun.

Yasuo was already waiting for nerfs. And the champion deserves a mini rework fixing his towerdive and wall. Aatrox was in the gutter since release, because he was considered oppressive, if he was playable, I can't see why anime fans should be privileged to terrorize the rift for so many years.

Overall, he still gets 100% crit rate in 2 items, and item 3072 is 200g cheaper, 100g IE (which offsets the cost increase on item 3046 ), and his post ult damage is almost pure true damage now..... given the penetration + 40% True damage conversion.

The only challenge is that True damage doesn't life steal.

But if he builds both item 3072 and item 3153 , he well more than makes up for it, with double his usual life steal, for 200 less g.

My issue with that is, is it ideal in most situations to build such items or not. I was doing some Practice Tool work on the Hotfix changes, so i'll be posting my findings later. Currently hunting down a nasty bug with his ult armor pen buff. Lasts 15 on the buff icon, but the notable damage increase from the bonus armor pen actually fizzles out at 6 seconds.

It's not that we don't know how to itemize, it's that our kit was balanced around rushing crit, which is now significantly harder, and worse to rush

Not like Yasuo had a strong early game anyways.... so he's passive farming at that point anyways.

In exchange Riot hotfixed and have you a Nightmarish mid/late game with instead of a 120% Crit damage, a 180% crit damage, and raised Yasuo's Base AD. Must feel nice to have your mid game steroided even more even though your late game was still about the same.
