Blind pick is the worst gamemode ever existing in league

Blind pick is literally just meant for having pure fun in a ranked-like scenario, i.e summoner's rift. Otherwise, it's meant to practice champions and mechanics, taking out targeted practices such as bans and counterpicking. It allows you practice perfectly fairly, i.e learning mechanics without the odds stacked against you.

Draft is meant for practicing ranked tit for tat in that it perfectly emulates everything in ranked by game design (Not accounting for player temperament) however doesn't count so it's not the end all be all.

Ranked is for advancement.

Raging at blind pick never has any merit. It's not meant to be serious. Only draft/ranked can be changed, blind pick is purely casual.

Raging on how Draft Pick is gone? Ok, I can accept that. Raging on how Blind pick should be removed? That's kinda hypocritical. You don't want a game mode removed, yet you advocate for another game mode to be removed.

Sadly it is basically the only mode that newbies can play since if they could be put into Draft mode, most of their champion pool could be banned.

Actually, I'd say ARAM is worse.

But that is the point of ARAM, innit? It is supposed to be a wonkily designed mode where the unfairness and randomness of it is the main selling point.

Blind pick on the other hand is just a toxic mess because it is so poorly designed.

While I have a disdain for mirror matches, i play almost exclusively blind pick. The reason is that i'm play the game to have fun and enjoy myself, not to (queue season 1 pokemon theme instrumental) try and become the next LC$ faker 1337 haxzors player...

The only problem with blind pick is that, where riot use to balanced champions on a general level, after all the majority of the player base is playing in a general format, they've now been able to justify extremely powerful (brokenly so) general purpose champions, on the basis that they lose to counter picking with specialized champions. Something which is obviously impossible to do in blind pick.

If you were to add the 10 bans to blind pick, you want to know what just about most every ban screen would look like?

Why? Because these are the most anti-fun and unfair champions to blind pick into. Most other champions have some reasonable method of outplaying them on any arbitrary champion. Yet these champions don't, because riot's method of balancing them is based on champion select screen information, which again you don't have in blind pick. While it's a very powerful counter, it's also a massive handicap bonus for people playing these champions in blind pick, because the best method of countering them is gone.

I'm indifferent to the removal of Normal Drafts. If I wanted bans and counterpicking in Normals, I would have just played Ranked. Besides, in Blind Pick, I sometimes face mirror matches. It's fun to fight your own champion once in a while, something you can never do in drafts.

I actually only play Blind Pick so I can get a random role (usually fill) and it's faster than Draft. Honestly wish Team Builder was still around, or at least a variation of it.

Last time I played Normal Draft, it took several minutes just to get the game started, and it ended up being a mess of a match. We surrendered at exactly 20 minutes after a failed jungle invade and lots of feeding. I waited all that time for that.

Blind Pick may suck, but at least the champ select doesn't take forever.

I actually find Blinds(and base 3s) to be the best game modes because A) No META whatsoever and B) MIRROR MATCHES (complete 5v5 of the exact same champs, but usually different skins!! BEWARE CRIMSON ELITE RIVEN JUNGLE, and CRIMSON ELITE TALON SUPPORT/BOT).

And honestly it's the mirror matches that really sell Blind modes for me it's SO FUN (all for one does this decently too of course /all blitzcrank gets crazy).

Then go play 3v3 vs BOTS.

Blind Pick is for new players and players who don't have champions.

If the get rid of blind over draft, they'd need to reduce the price on champions. Or increase the amount of F2P champs.

Removing blind pick won't remove the annoying people who play it.

Or they could just reintroduce teambuilder. Removing blind pick while reintroducing teambuilder would make it have so much more traffic and they wouldn't have the 30 minute queue times most likely. It also has everything blind pick had and more, while also giving you roles you wanted rather than being forced into them because someone instalocked a role you planned on practicing.

I think you mean the best as well as the standard.

I play blind pick when I just want to quickly get into a game and usually play a champ that is perma banned in ranked. Draft takes a really long time to get setup and start playing let alone someone dodging when you're right about to start.

Blind is literally the reason I played ARAM for a whole season. I do miss the old fight over fill and the weird game where everyone says fill at the same time and no one picks anything and we get a dodge penalty.

Why the fuck would i want to wait 10 minutes for a game to start? blind pick gets me into a game in 3 minutes.
