Promotional Series need to go

Dear Rito or whomever actually pays attention to the boards. I am just a humble bronze player trying to get out of bronze. For the past 3 weeks I've been afraid of doing my promotional series to get out of bronze 3. I've been honing my skills vs silver and gold players in normal blind games trying to get better. Tonight, I decided to go through with my promotion games.

First game, a sated devourer yi just tore up everything because of the incompetence of the game balance team when they made sated devourer and not lower master yi's ability when it comes to that item.The second game also ended in a loss because our mid laner (a fizz) never connected to the game after champion selection.

These two games, combined with the toxicity of the opposing team in both games, is a prime example on why promotional series need to go while climing up the ranks from 5-1. I think that a promotional series is acceptable when trying to climb from say bronze to silver.

Please explain to us why in the world that we have to be constantly held hostage by toxic players, and disconnects in order to advance from say bronze 3 to bronze 2 yet, have a decent mmr rating to play against higher bronze, silver and gold players in all the other game modes.

Please let us know if you are actually looking into improving provisional matches, doing some changes to things like sated devourer, increasing the ban limit, or anything to improve the quality of ranked play.
