Got tired of same 4 adc picks every game.

Every game i play and by every i mean 99.9% there is Lucian,Xayah,Cait or Draven (sometimes just sometimes i see Vayne when others are banned which is very rare). I get it they are op right now and are meta. If somehow you ban Lucian and Xayah its Cait pick 101% there is never ever case even if it is normal blind pick game not to pick someone from above mentioned champs. Isnt that a shame Riot? from 19 Marksmen picks we every few patches have only 4 viable...First jhin and MF now this what is next?

Sometimes I see miss fortune and vayne, but they never do well. But hey, at least they're nerfing caitlyn's interaction with one item

The funny thing about meta is that you have to be good for it to apply. Most people are not good, but still think that by picking the CotW, they instawin.

You still get an advantage. Sure, the first time Lucian will probably lose against the mastery 7 twitch. But on equal skill level you get the advantage of just having a strong champion

That is not necessarily the case. The pros pick champions for certain strengths that most players don't even utilize. And conversely, players in lower ranks (with poorer understanding and mechanics) get caught out by abilities and tactics which would never work against a better player.

This is why 'Bronzodia' was a thing (is it still I thing? I hope so, that image was hilarious), made up of champions that are very strong in lower elos (like Amumu, blitz, etc.) but whose effectiveness fall off when your opponent has decent positioning.

he has 6% pick rate, yes it's small but this makes him visible in some games

anyway your post was just your experience, the truth is that many adcs are picked a lot

me too, and i feel sorry for him since he was abusing Lethality and armor pen just like MF. Then he got nerfed and Lethality got nerfed too. They are still viable i just wish to see him in more games since he opens more room for counterplay unlike lucian and cait.

jhin is still good and play able. when crit got buffed his crit build which is a viable build got buffed too. he has a build people just think they can't play him cuz they dont build bork.

Twitch he highest win rate at adc... i ban him if i ban an adc MissFortune as a 53.38% win rate Kalista 52.58% win rate KogMaw 51.39% win rate Varus 51.03% win rate

10 of the 19 marksmen have a 50% win rate or higher with jinx at 49.4% sivir at 49.3%

if anything it has the role with the most viable champs

not saying others are more picked... but to say there is only 4 viable marksmen is wrong...

but considering the limited pool of marksmen you are gonna see 4 rotated more often then not... where as mid/jungle/top you see a wide range of champs and diversity cuz different type of champs can play those roles... where as only marksmen can be marksmen

makes sense,i just got tired of seeing lucian,cait and xayah every game and it made me wonder if we are ever going to have balance so more marksmen are viable at one moment, it was first Crit abusers then Lethality abusers now Botrk abusers. I wonder if we are going full circle and getting crit abusers with Botrk nerf again. I just wish that at one moment crit lethality and botrk are all viable options at one given period but its impossible to balance since one thing is always going to be better than other.

all champs are viable in the right match up with the right team comp...

but to expect a kog maw to win lane and win in games less then 22 mins vs a lucian who is beast early and mid game is kinda failure to see the champs power spikes/curves and win conditions...

and alot of of the player base does not know or understand this

now if a game is dragged out 30+ mins a kog is gonna get to 6 items and there isnt a champ he cant eat threw in about 2.5 seconds. with his mixutre of damage and high dps out put.

but if you wanna win early and dominate a lane then MF, LUCIAN it is...
