And that's the new early game builds for champs. A lot of late game champs have been hit hard since the game ends before they can get going, but people find a way to turn these late game scalers into champs that do well early to mid. There's been quasus, dark seal singed dirk yi, and its really interesting to see what people can come up with when forced into scenarios like this.
And then people comlain about adc going lethality to get earlier powerspikes....but yea, lethality is the issue here, not the fact that lategame barely exists, sure. [zombie-brand-facepalm]
People who say stuff about snowballing are new... In season 2-3 you could snowball so much harder, especially in lane.
XP range was LOWER and you could get zoned for eternity ending up 3-4 levels behind. I actually miss those days, cause now it's way too easy to play super passive in lane and win.
I can agree that lategame sucks because teamfights are over too quick, but otherwise snowballing is much softer these past 2 seasons. There's just more team objectives that help close out games with early leads - Like new dragons and baron (heraldo even). It's more team oriented snowballing I guess- like DEATHballing in a way. Just stacking toghether and winning. I do hate that. Splitpushing is too weak
I don't think dark seal singed is really a product of that. It's just super synergistic with how he and his item needs are that there's almost no reason to not do it because there's really no tradeoff since the seals barely lose you any gold.
As for Quasus that's just a product of a lack of counterplay with how dumb and strong his E is.
I agree. It can break the mold on what is a late game or early game champ. I main Evelynn and in doing so Ive watched a lot of videos to better myself and have done some reading and most notes point to her being an early game champ that falls off. However Ive proven and rely on my late game with her. I don't know if that is just the why that I play her as a champ or if this is how the games are starting to become.
I can go 0/3/0 early game and have my team mates yelling GG and FF 20 etc and I can turn that into a KDA of 20/7/15.
Just an example but Pantheon also considered a late game fall off can still be valuable and strong late game as long as he didn't feed and has a decent build.
Master yi is just building serrated dirk because it's overpowered, it will still be good no matter the average game length. 
later is really good because you can build a lot of damage without getting oneshot easily.
I miss playing for the lategame, doing well as Nasus but having a 20 minute ff match is lame. If it's a normal game its even a disappointment on the winning team.
I could have sworn dark seal singed was a thing the moment dark seal was added to the game. It's just too efficient of an item on him, especially with
