autofill makes queue times longer

if you add people dodging the queue times are longer, + the actual people who get autofilled most of the time dont know how to play the role they were autofilled in obviously. i dont really mind waiting 5-15 minutes for a game (silver) knowing that my teammates got the role they wanted and nobody wont most likely dodge because they have the role they selected rather than queueing, getting inside a game in 3-5 mins, the match fails because someone dodges, you quickly have another game, like 1 second after, you still have your role but someone else dodges because they dont have the role they wanted, so the match fails again you get another fast queue and you get autofilled as support. that's so irritating it's almost impossible not to dodge, especially at the lower levels we are improving, i am silver but i got the game in october so i still need time to improve etc, if i dont select support i just dont want to play it, why cant you make a separate queue for fixed roles but with a longer timer rather than this "quick" one with autofill, i just dont like it, everytime i encounter people they dont like it as well, the bot lane is always feeding with the support that doesnt even know what's going on because 90% of the time he's autofilled. in my eyes this system doesnt work and the old one was much better

To be fair, dodging in of itself, isn't okay either, and should probably come with heftier penalties, especially for repeat offenders.

But you really can't compare that without some other way of dealing with the Bottle necking affect. You can't maintain an extra 5 minute wait time, just to guarantee the desired role. Perhaps more so at peek hours because their will be a horrendous line for people waiting to play a particular position.

people dodging are justified in my opinion, i shouldnt play a role if i dont want to, it's okay to have 1 main role that you select and it's the one most likely going to play and a second one if you dont get your first, but having 3rd that i just dont know how to play how am i supposed to play it, especially in ranked like is this system even serious? how am i supposed to play support if i just dont play it, i dont want to learn it, if the games gives me support i just wont, i'll end up feeding, ruining the game and losing it. how is that ANYWHERE close to a fair system.

the queue times werent even that much longer before autofill and if you add dodgers to the queue time it's even.

also once again i rather wait longer queue and have everyone on the role they desire.

have you ever played prior to season 6 when pick order was a thing? There was no entitlement to your preferred role, you had to play every role at least somewhat competently, or you would get flamed.

You would (a still will) continue to have problems if you can't do any role in Ranked. And if your not in ranked, then there's no excuse for being poor at the role, cause that's literally your chance to practice it.

Your claim is that Q times wern't even that much longer than before, isn't quite applicable now, because the Q structure had changed. The player base is now more divided as a result of people wanting a separate solo Q, from it's dynamic counterpart. You simply can't guarentee that the wait times will be comparable to when we had Dynamic Q.

yeah i said it and i wont take it back lol. why the hell would i need to be able to play support if i dont main it/like it/play it at all, it just doesnt make sense, i am bad at it and i wont ruin other people's games because of my incompetence it just doesnt make sense, that i bottleneck my whole team because i am just bad at a role, there's role that you can work around it like adc/jungler/top/mid, that overall you can play somewhat decent if you know how to paly one of the either but support is on another level in my opinion if you jsut dont play it you cant randomly play it in ranked and expect to do good. the fact is that you're most likely going to do bad with it in RANKED and that's bad for the whole team and should not happen., i repeat. i rather have longer queue times i and get the role that i want, and everyone the role that they want, rather than this badly made system that forces players to play something they dont know how to play which results in them feeding the game away most of the times.
