ehm placements? is this how they are supposed to work?

so, ill start with these are my first placements i am not a smurf etc, first season first everything. i just finished my placements, i thought i did pretty good, 7 wins 3 defeats solo, basically only got As on my matches, screenshot for proof: https://gyazo.com/4b3dc50f3441407e23a46d3fbd24e11a and i get bronze 5? i mean, yeah i know you start low and i think honestly it is 100% fair that even if you luck out your placements you dont start at a high level obviously i 100% agree with that but jesus, it's not like i went 1 win 9 losses. i at least expected bronze 3,2 or something i dont know, why are there even placement matches? like i dont get it. either you go 1-9 or 7-3 the outcome is the same. pretty lame if you ask me

also im fairly new to this game. so let me know if this is abnormal maybe it just glitched out and it gave me a rank i did not deserve something i could ask the support about. im saying this because i have already played against bronze/silver players in both ranked and draft, i find my self better than them, i played 300 hours of dota before this game so i kind of know how this works, im very passionate and i watch a lot of players.
