And i haven't seen a single zilean, he even got his passive reworked in the last pach to be more interesting and still no zill. people talk about urgot like hes the forgotten champion but not anymore. that change to his q and the nerf to the duration of his ult really killed him.

Lugg1 votesZilean needs a huge buff to his E. It's good for running away and that's about it. If used on an opponent, it should be similar to an exhaust. This would really up his value since he could then take a different summoner than exhaust.

Keeps his stacks from meaning much and a pretty decent balance of poke and cc. I really like the passive as even with the waved pushed to your own turret you can still lvl6 at the same time or possibly before enemy.

charcharmunro1 votesI think the main issue with Zilean is that while he functions as a mid-laner or a support, he's generally outdone in almost all aspects by others of those roles. Sure, he brings a speed-boost, a decent, if tricky to land area stun and a revive as a support, but other supports have heals or shields or get-out-of-jail-free cards for their ADC. Or are Annie who has in one click what Zilean has in a tricky combo. But better. And in midlane... He probably won't die much because can't killean the Zilean, but he has one damage spell, and it's pretty short-ranged. Also he generally has like the worst lane phase ever. He's still pretty great in teamfights, as I can attest to from getting him on ARAM.
At least that's how I see it.
Betoldia Prime1 votesPersonally, i love that new passive, its a visual change to my gameplay, i actually see the impact its having, especially before lvl 6 ganks, or just at lvl 6, where my lvl 5 jg comes to gank and i level him up just before a massacre (amumu and Vi come to mind). Also, hes never been that hard a champ to use, especially if you learn timing correctly, and even though he only has 1 damage spell, i think the only other support who deals damage close to it is a mantra Karma. Plus no other champion has a game changing ult. (other than kindred, who incidentaly, is the only one who can counter zils ult). And as you said, he has the best Teamfight because of his kit, especially with all the recent changes some champs have been getting. Personally, i would hate to be team stuned in the middle of a Darius focus, while veigar sets up a stun around the team, which means, all round masacres for everyone!!

Subject 51 votesZil is amazing imo, it is just that the position he places his adc in when he supports is just awful. When I play Zilean support I tell my teamate "Care early, I won't be able to do very much."
I level my E and W first, do no damage but I pick Zilean into tanks and non gapcloser champions that have large mobility. Champions like Shen, Mao, Kog, Jinx, etc. At level 11 I usually win my games if we aren't behind, I win MOST of my games after that period. The issue is getting Zilean there, while also sacrificing my support cash for a tear and another item for 40% cdr and then getting my sightstone. You know how much slack I get for skipping sightstone and buying wards? People treat me like hitler and Stalon combined.
