Why do we need bans in ranked? I think we're putting too much stock into champs rather than the players. If I see someone in Challenger playing Jax I'm not going to ban him in my lower elo game because I that mechanically/strategically they wont play the champ no where close to how the "pro" player did it. I don't believe in the ban system. Let me play who I want.
There are a few champions who have a mechanical advantage at the moment it also allows you to not fall into a specific type of role and allows you to become more diverse as a player . If you really want to play if you want to play just play normals Right has stated that they might make some changes in the banning system between solo Q and professional play but if anything he said they might add more bands
