So I've been playing a lot of Zed, Ekko, Fizz,and Fiora mid recently, but I can't figure out when to use them in ranked. For example, if I know that their mid laner is Katarina, and none of the champs stated above are banned, which one do I choose? Can you give me some ideas on some team comps these champs work well with and the teams they're good against?

Against Katarina you would need someone with reliable hard cc. A stun, knockup, silence, a small interrupt or a push/pull. Something what you can use exactly when you need to interrupt her ult, because that's a pretty meaningful part. Some early harass and defensive capabilities are pretty good against her. I don't recommend any of the champions you listed against her.Zed could possibly surprise her with BotRK hexdrinker tough. You and your team might have a hard time without those capabilities. You may able to 1vs1 her, but that doesn't take away the ability of your team to feed her. You may find sites with good/somewhat accurate stat representation like champion.gg , which is the best of those services, or you can just look up the actually good champion guides, the match up, champion weakness section of them and find out yourself and get a better idea about it.
