I am a Gangplank support main. There is a serious problem with the interaction between Gangplank's Parrrley and Kalista's W. I have known about this bug for a while (I reported it here months ago - the thread got no attention and the bug was not fixed), but was still forced to endure a game with it because of the stupid way that Kalista is set up.

Here's what went down. I was first pick and locked GP support. 4th pick selects Kalista and before he locks I'm asking him not to because of the bug. He locks in anyway. Sure I could have dodged, but I explained the bug to him, and said everything will be fine if he just makes sure he pairs with the jungler or something, to which he replies "Ok". So everything will be fine, right? Of course, the game starts and first thing he does is murder my beautiful pirate with his stupid spear. My game was ruined. And there was nothing I could do about it. (I have nearly 100 games as GP support, and this was by far my worst).

I understand that it's a complex game and you can't get to all the bugs right away. Especially for a fringe case (GP and Kalista laning together). But the way that Kalista is set up, where the oathsworn has no choice but to accept, is totally bogus. Why does a teammate get to decide my gameplay experience? I told him I didn't want him to take Kalista, and if he did, not to soul bond me. Why does the game let him do it anyway?

Because CertainlyT designs champions extremely poorly and does not learn from mistakes. In fact, he exasperates them. People have known this for a while but it's getting worse. It's honestly not the live balance team's fault, he makes their lives Hell.

I'm not sure but I have a feeling he isn't solely responsible, so for fairness' sake, I also blame whoever keeps greenlighting his ideas and whoever else participated.

So she bonded with you without your consent?

For a mechanic that's permanent for that game mode (unlike a Bard ult or an Anivia wall), I think it should only be offered and then accepted by the support. It shouldn't be forced on someone without consent...

Zenon, Meddler and Gypsylord all need high fives. CertainlyT needs to rethink his approach on champion design.

Gnar and Azir are some of the most balanced NEW champions we've had so far. Sure, Azir had like.. A ton of bugs. But otherwise he was never especially powerful or especially weak.. Just kinda fell out of the meta from time to time.

I don't want another Zed, or Darius, or Kalista.. Which is why I simply can't trust CertainlyT as a designer. At all.

Kalista is balanced people. Just cause you dont play her counters doesnt mean she needs to be deleted. Learn to play against her. I Actually tried to learn to play against her instead of complaining, it involved me playing her to see how she works, and when you find your own weakness, you know how to beat the champion. Just practice and play smart jesus christ. Rito never fixes the bugs people post on here, we know this.
