Is Half of Bards kit useless on ARAM?

So, how are his portals, meeps, and chimes going to work on ARAM? His portals can't really be used on a one-lane map and chimes spawning In the lane is going to be OP unless they nerf their effectiveness.

Yeah, I'm okay with 1 out of 120+ champions not being particularly useful in one of the game modes. Although his Q and Ult would be super easy to hit with.

Well, also his healing plates would need to be nerfed quite hard.

Edit: healing is already reduced, nvm

They'd go under teh already existing nerf to healing on ARAM

Unless the portals can be used to jump the brush-gap in the middle...

So his E has one use? Everybody is going to know that he and his team are in 1 of 2 brush. And what use is it even?

Riot already confirmed it can be used in that gap and in the gap between the lane and the base. This gives his team the opertunity to flank when the other team is pushing their inhibitor.

Riot also mentioned that they are probably going to make specific tweaks to him for ARAM, most likely via meep and chime spawn rates.

Just making the distinction between "can't be used" and "of little use".

Yeah, his E seems kinda useless on ARAM.

The rest of his kit seems cool though, and they'll hopefully tune his passive to cope with not being able to go anywhere, seeing as they do individual map tuning for some champions.

Maybe E can be used across the corners near bases too? Not that it matters too much, a lot of champs have a low priority ability. His would just be the lowest :p

His heals don't have to be nerfed specifically, either. Howling Abyss already has a 50% reduction to ally heals.

Maybe, maybe not. We'll see when he's released. I just don't see a reason to freak out right now. Making sure he's working right on Summoner's Rift should be their priority anyway.

I think he might go into ARAM but he might be one of those champs that can't go on it

Pretty sure the only champs who can't go on ARAM are the ones who haven't been released or the ones who are disabled due to bugs. ARAM isn't like featured modes that specifically disallow certain champs (Karthus and Teemo in standard One for All, for instance).

Really?? I didn't know that I thought they banned X champ like they do in some game modes in ARAM. Thanks for letting me know and not being rude ^^

So?

It would be kind of lame for a new champ like this one to be relatively weak on Howling Abyss.

Well, many champions are also relatively weak on Dominion... what gives?

They are fun (unbalanced) modes for a reason.
