Anivia Wall

So I just played a normal game with an anivia, who told me She doesn't take Wall until level 7, because it was a worthless ability and she loses lane pressure if she takes it.

Her wall if used correctly is crazy annoying for the enemy. You can zone so well with it and help for ganks to work, and helps to land q as well.

For people not good enough at anivia to get good use out of anivia wall this is true and potentially wise, since if most of your walls are useless or even actually work against you/your team, then it's probably best you don't try to force it. (I might suggest similar around ryze and bothering to take his ult.)

Good anvias are great at placing the wall in a way that causes people to autopath around one side of it, where her ult/q may be, as well as entirely blocking off gank attempts and similar.

I'd always take the wall at level 4 since it's always nice to have it as a back up, especially for junglers or roaming supports. I can understand people not taking until level 7 if they were up against a mid laner (and jungler) with a lot of mobility that the wall really wouldn't help much pre level 7 anyways. There can be uses for skipping it until 7, but it is just really strong when you get your ultimate and Anivia becomes a lot better at trading once she gets her ultimate and her wall and I wouldn't want to delay that by a level.
