So if riot calls them "shotguns" in his champ spotlight, on their website, in the teaser and way before he was actually released... why are they called echoing FLAME in game?. Almost positive it describes the ability as flame coming out of his knees. (Obviously not exactly quoted) I know it's a minor technical thing but I'm OCD and was wondering why this can't be fixed :)

Because they fire out in a cone, which is how a shotgun sprays.

Because of the chemtech used inside of his robotic parts, to fire the blasts it uses essentially cannon-ball style technology.

What I mean by that is, it uses an explosion to shoot, so some of the VFX you see when his passive goes off are flames from the blasts.
