Does this game favor powerful low skillcap champs? There's not enough bans to go around...

Why is every game I play going to be against Udyr jungle if I don't ban him? If not Udyr, it's Master Yi or Xin Zhao and you better believe some dude on my team is gonna feed him by getting caught out with low health. The snowballs just continue from there.

Why can't I just have fun and play ranked with enough bans to cover at least 5 champions. For example, I'm tired of laning against Darius or Malphite in the top-lane if I don't ban them. If I do ban them, then I gotta deal with no skillshot Udyr destroying my teammates then splitpushing and tanking turrets like nobodies business.

It feels like I'm playing League of Counterpicking & League of High Win Rate Champions rather than plain old League of Legends. Just increase the number of bans already. You know, you got 130 champs, 3 bans isn't even 3% of the champion pool for each team. That's basic mathematics and statistics. Force players to learn/buy a champ that actually requires a bit of skill and isn't a top tier pick with a high-win rate. Everyone on the team should be able to ban their worst counterpick, because whoever first picks is certainly getting counterpicked.

Well for one, you don't play ranked for fun...

It absolutely favors powerful low skillcap champs. Dying is so punishing now that everyone plays really safe and picks characters like Xin Zhao.

The game probably still favors the riot cycle of FOTM through champions/metas, it's unfortunate that most of league's roster is really low skill cap/outplay

skill floor*. Champions like Yi still have a significant skill ceiling, but they are easier to pick up and play

Depends on your elo. Obviously at low elo you are going to stomp people with simple champs like Yi, Trynd, Garen etc; but I find at plat and above those champs start to be less and less viable. Champions like Yasuo, Azir, Lee sin, etc start to dominate games if you are highly skilled mechically, they just have a higher ceiling.

Not really anymore.
