Dynamic Queue needs some major improvements (Primary/Secondary has big issues)
Primary top and secondary jungle is what I usually pick. I've gotten my secondary role at least 6 games in a row today. I changed secondary to mid which is more popular but still get mid instead of my top lane (primary role). I got plenty of friends who this is happening to as well, they don't even want to log on anymore. What's wrong with solely preferring one role and reliably getting it at LEAST 50% of the time?
Ya know something, It's really frustrating to go on a streak of secondary roles over and over because of this system. I never dodged a queue because of this but I'll bet that's why many times our "dynamic queue" gets canceled in champion select. It seems other players can't take this system either and just dodge, which increases my queue times even more. I've had games canceled five times in a row because of players dodging. Who wants to wait in a queue for 20 minutes for people to "man up" and play their secondary role? I'm in queue for approx 14 minutes as I type this out.
Also, if I queue with a friend, why can't we just pick one role? I don't mind waiting longer. I'd rather have quality games than quantity games where I get non-preferred roles over and over. For example, if I play top and he wants to jungle because we have strong top ganks, well, we can't do that because the game will stick me as jungle (my secondary) instead of giving him jungle (his primary) over and over again. What the heck is going on here?
I'm well aware there is a "support shortage" and I'd do support secondary IF I was guaranteed my primary role the next game. Picking support secondary would likely give me support 100% of the time at this rate. I've seen it happen to a friend of mine who plays mid...he couldn't get a single mid game that way. He won't ever pick support secondary again with the way this system works. Heck, I can't even get my primary role by picking popular secondaries...so I'll never pick it either. This game really needs to track and distribute the primary and secondary roles more evenly.
