Explanation needed for this ability E on Irelia

Equilibrium Strike RANGE: 425 COST: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 MANA COOLDOWN: 8 ACTIVE: Irelia pierces her target, dealing magic damage and Slow icon slowing the target by 60% for the duration. If the target has a higher health % than Irelia, she Stun icon stuns the target for the same duration instead.

I dont understand what the % health thing mean. Because at first I thought if she uses her E on you if you had more health than her you would be stunned but I don't get why she can even stun mage assassins like Ekko.

What it means is this:

Darius is at 50% hp left

Irelia is at 25% hp left

Irelia gets the stun

Darius is at 50% hp left

Irelia is at 75% hp left

Irelia doesn't get the stun

The number in the amount of health means nothing. Irelia could have 10k max hp and Darius could have 1k, but if Irelia is at a lower percentage of health, then she gets the stun.

I don't understand what you don't understand, you just explained what it does.

If Irelia is at 80% HP she will stun anybody that is 81% or more, and will slow anyone less than that.

Total amount of HP doesn't matter, only the current % total.

If you are full health you have 100% health (whether you have a max health of 1000 or 4000). If you have 1500 out of 2000 health you have 75% health the same goes for having 750 health out of 1000. How much health you have divided by your max health gives you your percent health. 1500 / 2000 = 0.75 or 75%. 4000 / 4000 = 1 or 100%.
