Finally made it to Silver...norms still awful.

Before anybody checks my history and flames me yes a friend and I duo'd to get me in Silver. No I don't care. I would have made it eventually anyway he just quickened it for me.

Anyway, finally I'm in Silver and don't have to deal with being called a bronze monkey but since then I've played some games and I'm not even being que'd with other silvers....what gives?

I thought I finally made it to a point where people would actually attempt to work together to get stuff done, instead I still see people playing teamdeathmatch, completely ignoring objectives, and allowing allies to die when they could have turned a fight around.

When do players get to play for fun but with allies who aren't half-asleep the whole game?

Tl;dr when will I be que'd with other players who are at least awake outside of ranked? Gold? Plat? Pre-season?

you generally wont see competent allies till at least gold 3, and even then, theyre still unreliable sometimes

honestly silver isn't much better than bronze.

you still get PLENTY of people in silver who don't remotely belong there because they got placed there their first season

Ranked and Normal queues are completely separate.

Here is some information for you.

The matchmaking for ranked and unranked are separate. They each have their own underlying MMR.

If you want to raise your unranked MMR get better at the game and win more unranked games.

Ranked LP is separate from the MMR of ranked. The MMR affects LP gain/loss.

You cannot see your MMR in either game mode.

So your rank has no effect on what kinds of games you get in unranked play.

Lol this guy. Thinks silver is where gameplay gets good. Love the optimistic spirit.
