Anyone else think the incoming warlords bloodlust rework is going to replace grasp of the undying

Grasp of the undying gives you a heal on your next attack after 4 seconds of combat, and the incoming warlords gives you a heal and movement speed buff after moving for a short time(same time as item 3087 )

This is probably going to work really well with tanks and even divers/fighters like Shyvana because of the movement speed buff that grasp of the undying doesn't have. This will probably cause many tanks like DrMundo Maokai Nasus orWarwick to take warlords over grasp of the undying unless they take courage of the colossus. I'm not saying it's going to be too strong or that they need to remove the move speed, I just think it works too much like grasp of the undying.

First off, only 1 out of the 5 champions you named is a tank, everyone except Maokai is a fighter. Then you also have to consider that most of these champions don't do nearly enough auto attack damage to profit from the life steal. I mean compare the damage they deal to a Yasuo, a Tryn or any Crit Carry. You could make a case for Nasus since his Q applies life steal but the rest not really, especially Maokai whose auto attacks are basicallly tickles.

it's not even a full second of MS boost

it'll be good on certain builds, like triforce builds for bruisers, but otherwise I wouldn't expect it to be picked on them often

i still think Nasus would use SRS but warlord's might be better on him than I'm anticipating

So? And? Also Shyvana does not use Grasp anyway. Many Nasus do not either.

Grasp is more for a tankie health stock for champions who get more bang for their buck in the full green tree compared to Blue or Red. Such as Nautilus or Malphite or Sion and so on because they aren't some champion who spaz hit strike enemies like crazy (Quinn , Riven , etc.) aka thru a full damage combo of sorts or have alot of strong hitting physical damage attacks (Darius ) so they end up devouring up the current Warlord's bloodlust's lifesteal bonus.

At the very least i hope the new Warlord's bloodlust and what's replacing the old bond of stone doesn't cause a repeat of Courage of the Colossus, which caused to much BS and still does with its beefie shield that is brought to the table for alot of dive'ish CC spaz champions to get a free damage burst out right at the opening blow and usually have enough time to run away before that shield poofs and then they can have their own health torn up. Which usually isn't much if a champion was already built tankie so they can easily still stick on a target even after courage of the colossus is done and pull things like tanking turret shots or the rest of their own team to dive and finish you off.

At the very least i hope they also follow up with them on few measures to disperse the lethality ADC build styles and make lethality PROPERLY only work on assassins, because it feels like its going to take nothing less then making Lethality have much less effect thru auto attacks and be more oriented to ability casts, specifically so it would mesh better with Assassins that rely on a ability cast rotation of damage then just auto attack punching stuff to death.
