What meta has not been ADC meta lol? Only mandatory role in the game since Season 1.

Do you even realize that ADCs are only mandatory BECAUSE OF tanks? Only ADCs have the sustained damage necessary to burn through the health and armor of a tank, where an assassin would flounder because their burst can't get through the huge amounts of health and resistances.

It used to be, that other than tank busting, that ADCs were also for safe tower pushing. Now that mages can attack towers more effectively due to their AP doing bonus dmg to towers, ADCs are not as required in the pushing role.

Tryndamere shits on tanks. Master Yi destroys tanks. Jax dumpsters tanks. Trundle turns tanks into paper. Darius uses tanks for resets.

There are so many champions who can deal with thanks, much better than alot of adcs.

The champs you have described only do that when FED. Possible exception to perhaps Trundle.

The big problem with the tank meta is people refuse to focus the tanks. It takes the whole team pounding on them to kill one and a tank in LOL can deal decent damage.
