How grades are calculated

Question here, how com information from the graphs feel like they have nothing to do with what grade you end up with, for example, I played a Sion sion game recently where I went 5/7/14, had the highest damage on my team except the assassin, had the second largest cc score, the enemy support having more, Took the most damage, beside the ekko who went 7/11, although my turret damage scores are low, I got a C+, how does that make sense?? Of course there are other instances where such things happen, but I don't want this post being too long.

Note that this is a genuine question of whether stats have anything to do with grades. And if it doesn't, i think it should, and not be centered around kda.

You utilized Sion's passive too much :^)

KDA and CS are the biggest factors in your grade. The D can really hurt you, btw (tough to get an S if you have more than 4 deaths, unless you have like 20+ kills and other stuff).

The other things (dmg, healing, gold, vision, cc, etc) are minute.

Well it makes sence, if you have lower than 5 deaths, at least 5 kills and more than 15 assists you might get an S-, but in this kind of rate its not possible to get an S-...This is how I think, if my thought is wrong please tell me what IS really like, because I had some ridiculous rates but the grades are just making me facepalm so hard. ;_;

My brother ended up with 14 kills in one match. 14-1-3 in a 20 minutes match and he got freckin B+ His CS was relatively low, but this is still a mystery how it happened.

I just played a game as caitlyn adc and I went 16/1/14, top damage, over 100 cs in a 18 minute game and I got an A. This actually made no sense at all. can anyone explain?
