but I main mf support lol jk ya I see this a lot and when its on enemies team im happy cause I live longer
They usually learn after getting hit the first 2-3 times. Even in low silver, people learn really fast to not stand there. :P
A good MF will also set up the back caster line of the minions so all three are ready to go if the enemy comes up to CS.
But the damage on her Q is so good in lane, that its worth the mana whether or not the minion dies if they're in position once you get a few levels in it. I've chunked ADCs for 1/3 health no problem without even a whole item or killing a minion.
Many fighter mains who are forcibly autofilled to adc go with MF, which is why so many of them don't know how to double up
