Why do so many people hate Soraka?

Like seriously feels like people think she's the most cancerous thing just for doing her job. I remember when Raka could give mana, when she had a point and click silence and could shred armor and magic resist. But, no, using 10% of my health to heal anyone is enough reason to have people at arms and joyous over nerfing her or even gutting her. Just please i do not understand all the hate she gets, she isn't really even good at a professional level. So why do so many people hate Soraka?

The removal of the GW cleanse on her passive is understandable since GW only affects self-healing now. The change to her Q range is kind of unnecessary. She's not THAT oppressive. I think Sona is more oppressive than Soraka.

She isn't good at the professional level because an actual team can focus her and stop her from being able to heal her allies, but in soloq there isn't the same coordination. Her being able to effectively cancel out all damage you do while never having to expose herself is what makes her so "cancerous" to play against. Only in soloq though, and actual team will wait till they can pick her out then fight.

Soraka was played a lot, seen as op and reworked because she was so cancer back when she had those things lol.

With the new masteries she heals like 250 HP in lane.... every 3 seconds + her self heal is ridiculously easy to hit. I probably still hate Sona more than Soraka tho because of her cancerous dmg and cc in lane lol.

People hate Soraka because she cancels amazing ganks from anywhere on the map. That's the honest reason, she prevents LCS Big Plays.

The thing about raka is that she synergizes with the extra heal masteries really well, she exchanges 10% of her health for a 25%-50% of her heal partner if you go with item 3504 and people gets really salty because her heal its just bs, at least her ult got the grievous wounds removal removed.
