azir tips?

on my other account, i'm awful with azir. I've gotten a lot better, but I still feel helpless when I use my q to get a soldier near someone and they just walk out of its attack range. i also can not use his ult for shit, since distortion is gone I cant blow flash to use my ult and hope we win the fight anymore. i have lvl 4 mastery, but I feel I dont deserve it. i didnt master shit. anyone got any helpful tips?

I'm by no means a great Azir player but I feel like I learn a lot whenever I see a pro or a high level streamer play him. Watch how they position their soldiers, when they use their Q, and when they go all in.

Also, it really helps to go into a custom game and practice your combos on bots. Just get CDR items and practice the Shurima shuffle over and over.
