I'm a Rengar main, in the upcoming assasin rework can I expect Rengar W to change?

as some of you know Rengar can literally one shot the enemy adc for being out of position in 0.01 seconds or even in position as well. The annoying part is you cc the dam thing and he would press w and get an insane 50% armor & mr boost, can I expect this to be removed? so this assassin can't tank damage while going full ad and being hard to punish for it.

I ask this is because I'm a Rengar main and I too think he's op in alot of ways, but his w stands out since the boost is way to high for it even at level 1.

Alot of Rengar's max Q then e, but w will always have the 50% for each enemy it hits, 50% is a way too much in my opinion. As I would normally jump in one vs 5, either kill the enemy adc or mid, then press w. Tank for awhile and do insane dps in the mean time due to my w allowing me to tank while life-stealing like there is no tomorrow.

Will this get tone down? or removed all together so this guy is an actual assassin only and not a tank?

I do love how he has so many ways to be played though thanks to his w, you can go full tank, ap or the fun way full ad+crit(in my opinion). it sads me that he is getting changed, but I want him to be changed in the right way so he is a healthy and balanced champion. One more thing will the indicator for his ult get changed somehow?

Riot has been quoted as saying they plan on moving him more towards the "diver" class of champions, since that's what he was originally designed to be and already reworked once to be changed back into, which ofc failed cause ferocity and double casting.

So yeah I think it's highly likely they'll be changing his W to be more interactive, and I also think they'll most likely be changing his ability to double cast since that's almost the sole reason he's currently played as an assassin. I mean you ignore nearly half of his kit when playing him as a full glass canon assassin, but due to his resource system it still works.... so expect that to be hit more so then his abilities themselves.

That's my early take on it. But yeah Riot has stated they want to "keep that element of assassination but move him more back towards the diver class then that of the assassin." In fact based on some of the things I've heard and read recently it's highly likely a good number of the current assassins may actually become divers instead, since they're easier to balance and generally healthier for the game overall.
