How come there's no 1v1 mode?

I mean random PvP, not the custom made or where you demand the other person to go 1v1 with you. I've seen many people wishing they could go 1v1 with their opponents and since there is a 1v1 stage, it makes sm wonder.

It could be a "Blind pick" mode that people can use for practicing their champs for the laning phase and simply get a feeling towards their (new or not) champion for PvP. It could even be used to learn how to play against certain champs. It may very well have two modes; one "full game" and one "fast game", in which the games will end in 100cs, first tower or first blood.

Thoughts?

they came out with a temp 1v1 game mode a few years back. im sure they will make it playable again eventually. or maybe not i dunno

i remember, a game mode 2v2 where if you get 2 kills you win, or get 100cs , OR get first tower
