The new Akali looks awesome; But why do we have to lose yet another champion in the process? The new Akali is not Akali. This is a completely new champion.

League of Legends is making the same mistakes that were made in World of Warcraft development; but with no real justification or need.

League of Legends is not an mmo with a limited character pool. It is a moba that has 100's of champions! There is no reason to EVER delete an old champion. In fact any old champion that has ever been removed from the game should be brought back in their legacy form; If you don't want them to be played in pro games than under tune them slightly; but do not remove the champions.

I think i speak for all solo players that main a limited champion pool when i say that when you change our mains beyond recognition you're effectively removing our ability to play the game.

Perhaps i should be thanking Riot? I'm a huge addict when it comes to playing Akali; but I don't think removing champions and replacing them with imposters ( no matter how cool ) is good for business or good for the community.

Akali is being reworked into what her archetype was supposed to be, she fits it better lore wise, kit wise and personality wise. In her current Bio she got tired of having to remain passive under Shen's teaching and chose to take things into her own hands with the power that she has, i don't know about you but that's more akin to Gangplank not Aatrox.

The current plan with Akali, lore wise is to have an event similar to the Burning Tides event several year's ago, showing off her story and how she evolved as a character, not how she was removed from the game, not to mention she still plays extremely similarly to current akali just with more tricks and a lot more skill required.

Akali doesnt play anything at all like she used to. The only real simularity is shroud. Everything else is a completely different ability.

Her ult used to be a refresh on kill gap closer with a very low cooldown and recharge mechanism. It now is more like an Ahri ult.

She might as well not be an energy champion anymore.

This is a completely new champion stealing her name. There is no need to delete old champions and replace them with "Reworks"

Aatrox is not even close to the same as well. If i were an Aatrox main i would be furious.
