Why does Rylai's get condemned for giving mages reliable CC, damage, and tankiness to mages, but how does Gauntlet avoid the community's hatred on Ezreal?

Don't get me wrong, I get why it's so hated and needs changes, but Gauntlet does almost the same exact fucking thing for Ezreal and there's little to no backlash for it when they do nearly the exact thing. It genuinely confuses me.

Because it's only for Ezreal, and some tanks. There's no health, and no innate power(ad or ap) it's simply armor and mana, Ezreal is the only champ who can viably build BOTH item 3043 and item 3025 , which gives it the equivilant of Rylea's, problem is, everyone is building it, even with innate cc.
