I played against a Jayce top he harassed me and did about 800hp damage to me. And my minions guess what? They did 150hp damage to him, in the same time lol. Please Riot can you not fix the most obvious simple things in your game?
Minions are not there to win your lane. They are there to help and support you (while giving gold to the enemy). If you don't do anything to the jayce how do you expect your minions to do it for you? Also increasing minion damage would completely break melee champions or those who need to be close range for a decent amount of time to achieve anything

Jayce is a poke and harass champ.
Dealing a high amount of damage from a long range with minimal repercussion is kind of his schtick.
