Is current rewards for Champion Mastery Level 7 enough??

As of now when you get a champion to level 7 mastery, you get a Mastery Badge Emote, Loading Screen Border and an Announcement Banner. Up to level 6 these rewards are fine, but getting a champion to level 7 is a whole different story. It takes lots of time and effort from the player to get their main champion to level 7 and getting the same rewards for that is not enough in my opinion. I have a suggestion that Riot should reward a player reaching level 7 mastery on a champion with gifting them a skin for that champion (am not talking about ultimate, legendary or rare skins, just normal low RP cost skins). Not every player have enough money to spent on RP to get a skin for their favourite champion. But these players spent their time and effort to get those champs to level 7 and they deserve an extra reward for that in my opinion. Even gifting a skin shard of that champion rather than the skin itself will be awesome.

What you guys think about this???

Negative.

It should be something else, something unbuyable. Maybe that champ's icon, some chroma, or even a better recall animation. NOT something able to be gotten normally.

I always though a summoner icon using that champion portrait should be enough. Riot don't want to use champion portrait as summoners icon for whatever reason thou

I really wish they would ... then no one would have an excuse for not knowing when I'm playing my main (and therefore have no excuse for not running the other way/disconnecting to avoid getting butchered). :P

Which skin (if you have any) would get the new recall? Because a lot of the older champs have "idle animation" recalls for their base skins, but good recall animations for newer skins.

Lets take Darius for an example. (I know he has a recall animation but still)

Instead of lifting his axe, he could throw it and it flies for a bit, then falls. He could be weirded out while this is happening. Ofc something else could be better, but I made this up in 3 minutes.

Only if you cheat and play normals.

Getting them in ranked is harder. (unless you are smurfing.)

I can get consistent S and S+ ranks in normals but rarely get more than S- in ranked. (about once in 20 games)

To get S or S+ you need to completely dominate a game. Such stomps rarely occur if you are playing against people with similar MMR.

I'm already one token short of getting mastery 7, it's really not that difficult

depends on champs really.

For instance some champs you need to pull of something ridiculous like 17/2/5 250CS to get the S rank (not S+ mind you)

and that is hardly easy if you don't play normals and actual meta in your ranked bracket.

Why should it be cheating to get them in normals? Normals have mmr too, as far as I know. I understand that people call it cheating if you play stuff like soraka jungle (I think so myself), but if you play soraka support in normals, I think it is completely fine.

The rewards are fine for right now, you do realize that level 7 isn't the final level... they will have more in the future with other rewards.

Seriously? But why.... I think level 7 is more than enough, why do they have to add something on top all the time?

Yes seriously. They are still going to be improving the system over time and adding more to it. Level 5 used to be the last level for the longest time afterall, then they finally turned 6/7 on as those files were in-game.

Yeah I dunno, I don't see them doing that.

I think they will have taken in the feedback on various things and just maybe keep other levels at like 3 S+ if they do that side again, if they change it to something else like just gaining points again it'd be nice.. but we'll just have to wait and see.

They have most focus on the new client right now though so features like this are a little lower priority.

Someone made a thread about giving level 7 mastery ppl an animated loading screen splash or something.

Bad idea, since it would just increase the loading time and not every player out there has a high end pc.

I mean it was super easy. Took less time for get from M5 to M7 then it did from M4 to M5. For both Cass and Anivia it took no times to get mastery 7. If anything they should make it so it doesn't take as fking long to get to master 5.
