re: DFG and Ahri

I've compiled a list of net changes since V3.13, which was when the slight rework was released.

Mana increased from 230 to 250. [Regen Overhaul] Mana regen changed: 6.25 (+???) -> 7 (+???) -> 6 (+0.8)

Essence Theft Now heals 2 + (1 * level) + (9% AP) per enemy hit by the empowered ability, rather than granting 35% spell vamp.

Orb of Deception Mana cost decreased from 70 scaling up to 90 to 55 scaling up to 75. AP scaling per pass increased from 32.5% to 35%. Will now return to Ahri even if she dies or becomes untargetable before it reaches maximum range. Ahri gains Movement Speed while the orb is deployed-- a rapidly decaying speed buff at launch and then a moderate one while it is returning.

Fox-fire Enemies hit with multiple fox-fires take 30% damage from each additional fox-fire beyond the first, down from 50%. Maximum damage to a single target reduced to 64 / 104 / 144 / 184 / 224 (+64% AP) from 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+80% AP). Mana cost reduced to 50 from 60. Base Damage increased to 50/80/110/140/170 from 40/65/90/115/140, increasing maximum single-target damage to 80 / 128 / 176 / 224 / 272 (+64% AP).

Charm Mana cost changed to 85 from 50/65/80/95/110. Ahri deals 20% increased ability-based damage to enemies that have been Charmed in the last 6 seconds. Ability Power Ratio increased to 50% from 35%. Base damage increased to 60/90/120/150/200 (?) from 60/90/120/150/180. (Probably going to be 60/95/130/165/200 :V)

Spirit Rush Damage reduced to 70 / 110 / 150 (+30% AP) from 85 / 125 / 165 (+35% AP). Maximum damage to a single target reduced to 210 / 330 / 450 (+90% AP) from 255 / 375 / 495 (+105% AP). [Damage to Charmed enemy: 252 / 396 / 540 (+ 108% AP)] Now has a visual effect while she has charges available.

Things in italics are being removed and things in bold are being added in the PBE.

So ~15% of Fox-fire's AP scaling has been moved to Charm, the base damage against a single opponent is ever-so-slightly reduced and the damage against multiple targets slightly increased (30 at rank 5)--if we're looking it in the whole, the changes to her basic abilities still sum up to around the same damage.

So, then, can Spirit Rush receive some extra damage [to v3.12's state]? It'd be really nice to have--quite a lot of damage was lost from Charm's Doom debuff, which seems like it it will significantly harm her ability to finish off targets as a mage. ...And can Fox-fire finally be fixed so it doesn't fizzle out when you use Zhonya's Hourglass? :/

I'd like to think that my argument speaks for itself but I know that such things are never as one hopes.

And I know she doesn't, strictly, need more damage, but it would greatly assist her when/if she starts falling a bit behind if she had a little more damage available to her.

Yep I came to the same conclusions not long ago. It's wordy so feel free to ignore, but here's my post. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/n3tZkTqR-a-breakdown-on-the-ahri-changes

I'm upset that they're removing the damage amp, but I think adding damage into the ultimate would make up for that. As it stands I don't think she does enough damage to be viable compared to an Azir or Orianna.

Her lane phase is going to be absolutely ridiculous with the movespeed though, and I'm interested to see how lich bane builds work on her (Q, Auto, E + W right in their face with the movespeed from Q, Auto again). So maybe with a sheen rush I could see Ahri seriously snowballing mid and maintaining her pseudo-assassin style.

All of this makes sense, please advise. Since they are reversing the changes from her 3.13 changes, her previous mana costs and damage should be returned.
