Someone tell me what's good about Twisted Fate

op.gg says he's really good atm but I don't see anything that makes him outperform any other midlaner other than roaming TwistedFate

Really fast roaming after 6, can stun with an AA and still does more than decent damage. Plus he doesn't have to starve for mana.

"Other than roaming"

Roaming is extremely valuable, especially in higher tier play, by getting other lanes ahead you assure your team is going to have a kill, gold and objective lead. The mere threat of TF teleporting in with a gold card is also enough to keep enemies from going for aggressive plays.

That plus the sheer utility and damage he provides late game make him an extremely good pick if you know the champion.

  1. His gold income is insane. Coupled with a Cull and maybe even Kleptomancy he can make enough moolah to buy a Rod of Ages 7-10 (rough estimates based on the fact that his Passive is RNG) minutes into the game (provided he CS perfectly and he doesn't die/back).

  2. His Q is kinda shitty but hey it deals damage and has decent scaling so whatever.

  3. His W is one of the most versatile abilities in the game. You need mana sustain? He can do that. You need waveclear (and a slow)? He can do that. You need a stun? He can do that. The only problem with this is that first off, it's RNG. You never know which card you'll draw first. Second off, it requires you to keep track of what card you're currently on and you need to time it perfectly so you get the right card.

  4. His E helps him with last hitting and it makes trading with him easy as he can just hit 3 attacks on the minions and then the fourth on the enemy champion.

  5. His R is just such a good ability. Not only can you see where every champion on the enemy team is (which is fantastic information to have by the way), you can also teleport which makes it a god tier ability, only matched by something like Tahm Kench and Ryze.

  6. Since he benefits from both AD, AP and AS, he has a great amount of items to choose from and can be played in a variety of different roles.

  7. He looks hella sick.

  8. Edgy as fuck.

  9. Can banish your ass straight to the shadow realm.

That's all I really have for Twisted Fate.
