What if the dragon spawns were shown in champ select?

I feel like what dragons spawn can significantly effect how viable your team comp is. What if the order of the spawns was shown in champ select so it can directly affect how you draft? For instance if you saw a 3 Infernal spawn you might be able to more easily justify an early game focused heavy assassin/burst comp with maybe a Shyvanna jg. I think it might be an interesting addition to draft. What do you think?

i think this is a wonderful idea it will get pubs to be more team oriented.

I think it's good for competitive, but unlikely Rito will implement it. The whole reason Riot added RNG dragons and plants is too make games more random, and unexpected ( and by nature, less competitive). The purpose is to ensure games feel different, and thus players will stay longer.

I don't know how effective that measure has been, but unless Riot changes their philosophy, I don't think they will do it.

Fair points. Or what about you see dragon spawns in normal draft and ranked but not in blind? Then it would be sort of a compromise. Because I agree it would be cool to see how professional and top of the ladder teams would use this to inform their drafts.

It could be the competitive scene, and the new clash mode Riot introduces. These games are those player have a commit to regardless. But it also has the downside of casuals playing a different game than the pros. I'm not a game designer myself, so I'm just floating these game design concepts without knowing how to balance them. But it sounds like a solid compromise.

But again, devoting resources into making minor changes that won't impact a whole lot of people is also a bad idea. They may as well spend the time on doing voice chat. (That's why I will never be, and don't want to be a project manager, ha).

Oh I forgot about the new Clash mode. If Riot tested anything like this that might be a good place to try it.
