Why is Ohmwrecker not getting reworked?

If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure NOT A SINGLE CHAMPION builds ohmwrecker as one of there core items or even as a reliable alternative item, also if I'm not mistaken this item has the LOWEST pick rate out of any other item in the game. So why exactly hasn't riot changed this item in nearly 3 seasons, the last patch to this item was in v7.12 which is kind of ridiculous. Riot needs to do something to this item or just remove it all together. (i would prefer a rework though)

I agree with the rework idea and would not ask that it be removed. The item itself was created in honor of the player of the same name due to how they kept information on LoL on the site they were editor-and-chief of back some years ago when other sites did not consider the game too important.

Ohmwrecker is named after a League of Legends player, Ohmwrecker (aka the Masked Gamer), as a reward for gaining over 1000 referrals. Up until it closed in June 2012, Ohmwrecker served as the Editor-in-Chief of Voodoo Extreme, a popular gaming site that covered League of Legends extensively when most other sites disregarded it as an insignificant free-to-play game.

Nothing about Ohmwrecker suggests it would be a core item and it has it's niche as the superior Raptor Cloak upgrade for the champions in top lane who actually like buying it (Darius and other juggernauts mainly, but IMO tank players are sleeping hard on it too)

All it really needs is like 100-150 more health and it would be a great item. The stat lineup it offers is amazing.

I agree with you it would be a great item if it got that buff or a small change to its active to make it more reliable

yesterday I played a match where my ez bot built that (ive also seen many more games where people use that item than games where people use ohmwrecker legitimately, infact ive seen NO games where ohmwrecker is used legitimately

item 3056 on some juggernauts like Darius, Mundo and Nasus is actually underrated. If you think about these champions like tower diving so what can be better than disabling a tower while your enemy realizes their mistake too late. The item itself isn't that bad though, it's just that in the current meta, for the first 5 minutes of the game you can't touch anyone under tower and then you outscale the towers. I've seen ADC's successfully tower dive tanks multiple times. Who needs an Ohmwrecker when their exists stuff such as item 3026 and item 3075 . The item itself isn't that bad although its second passive should probably be replaced with something good, its just how the game is right now.

Not every item has to be a motherfucking core item and ohmwrecker has its uses into heavy AD enemy teams.

but im saying every item in the game is a core item on some champions or used for some reason, i have never seen Ohmwrecker used in a game where it was not bought as a troll item (i know it was because the person who bought it said they did it as a troll because our team was winning so hard) also I'm pretty sure every item in the game is a core item or part of a recommended full build on atleast ONE champion but not Ohmwrecker. (btw ive played over 1000 games of league)

The stats on it are actually quite good for its price. I think what would make people want to buy it is the ability to either buff allied towers or disable enemy towers so it can't just be used when on the offensive.
