Champions that do damage yet are Tanky aren't healthy for the game

I find it very Frustrating that having to fight vs a tanky champ in lane and even though they have mostly defensive items they are still capable of killing you in a short window, and the worst part is that you can't do anything about it, once you get caught by them you just either try to escape and burn a summoner or just stand there knowing your gonna die either way. Ever fought a Renekton, Ryze, Shyvana, Volibear even though they aren't that fed they kill you anyways and although you try to fight back your damage isn't good enough then they get fed off you and you have trouble even keeping up with them since you try to place safe but they are tanky enough to dive you yet still kill you.

The only real champ you stated thats a tank is voli

i didnt say tanks that do damage i said champs that do damage yet are tanky as in they are hard to kill like a tank.

IIRC, Volibear is a juggernaut rather than a tank.

ah yes he is. But different from many other jugs he builds practically all tank. Where as darius would build a cleaver voli would rather get a sunfire

Classification generally relies more on the champion's kit than their build.

As an example, Dr. Mundo is another juggernaut who builds full defensive items but lacks the utility to be a true tank.

It is a point worth arguing though due to how a champion's build can greatly alter their classification/role.

For example, Ekko could function as a legitimately tank when built defensively (due to his innate CC) while Akali couldn't.

Luckily enough, damage and durability aren't the only factors involved with balancing a champion.

You seem to be ignoring everything else, including (but not limited to):

  • Range
  • Mobility
  • CC
  • Utility

Thats what allt he champs i stated Have Volibear: CC, Speed boost, Healing Passive Ryze: CC, Range and Ult Renekton: CC, Mobility, and most of them are Quite Hard to kill while having Kill pressure themselves.
